Privacy Policy for Migraine Pressure Tracker
Effective Date: July 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile app Migraine Pressure Tracker, published by SEO Let's Go (SLG). It explains what information the app stores, the one situation where information leaves your device, and the choices you have. For questions about this policy or the app, use our contact page.
1. Summary
Migraine Pressure Tracker is a local-first app. Your migraine diary — entries, symptoms, triggers, notes, and everything else you log — is stored only on your device and is never sent anywhere. The single exception is that the app sends your approximate location to a weather service so it can show local barometric pressure and weather. That is the only information that ever leaves your device.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Migraine Pressure Tracker does not require an account, sign-up, login, or email address of any kind.
The app lets you record and stores the following locally, in a database on your device:
- Diary entries, including dates and times
- Pain severity
- Symptoms and possible triggers
- Free-text notes you write
- Medication names you enter
- Weather and barometric pressure snapshots captured alongside your entries
This data is never transmitted to us. We do not operate a server for this app and have no way to access your diary content. If you delete the app, this locally stored data is removed along with it, subject to your device's own storage and backup behavior (see Section 10).
3. Information Sent Off Your Device (Weather)
To show barometric pressure and weather conditions for your area, the app sends your device's approximate location to Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com), a third-party weather data provider, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
Specifically:
- The location sent is approximate — your coordinates are rounded to roughly 1 kilometer (two decimal places) before the request is made. Your precise location is never stored or transmitted.
- These are real-time requests made only to fetch a current forecast; they are not linked to an account, user identifier, or any of your diary content.
- We do not retain these coordinates — we have no server, so there is nothing on our side that stores the request.
- Open-Meteo may process or log these requests according to their own privacy policy, which governs their handling of this data. You can review it at open-meteo.com/en/terms.
This is the only outbound data flow in the app. No diary content, notes, or medication information is ever included in these requests.
4. Location Permission
The app requests location access solely to retrieve local weather and pressure information as described in Section 3.
Location access is optional. If you decline it, the app continues to function, though pressure and weather-related features will be reduced or unavailable. Your precise location is never stored or shared under any circumstance — only the rounded, approximate coordinates described above are ever sent, and only to Open-Meteo.
You can change location permission at any time in your device's Settings.
5. Health-Related Information
We recognize that migraine and headache information is personal and sensitive. All health-related information you enter — logs, symptoms, triggers, notes, and medications — stays on your device. We do not access it, sell it, share it, or use it for advertising of any kind.
Migraine Pressure Tracker is an informational tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional medical care. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns, diagnosis, treatment, or urgent symptoms.
6. What We Do Not Do
- We do not require or collect accounts, sign-ups, or email addresses
- The released app includes no analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind
- We do not use advertising identifiers
- We do not work with data brokers
- We do not sell or share your data, and we do not use it for advertising
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Optional Pro subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles all payment processing; we never receive your card number, payment details, or billing information. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID, in your device's Settings.
8. Data Sharing
The only third party that ever receives any information from the app is Open-Meteo, and only the approximate location described in Section 3. We do not share, sell, or rent any other information to anyone. Data may only be shared beyond this if required by law or necessary to protect our legal rights.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data remains on your device until you remove it. You can:
- Delete individual entries directly in the app
- Use Settings → Delete all data to erase all locally stored app data from your device
- Delete the app entirely, which removes its local data
Because the app's data lives in a location that iOS may include in your device's own backups, your personal device or iCloud backup settings may retain a copy of this data according to your own backup configuration. This is standard iOS behavior and is outside the app's control; we do not have access to your backups. Deleting data in the app does not cancel or affect an Apple subscription — subscriptions are managed separately through your Apple ID.
10. Children's Privacy
Migraine Pressure Tracker is not directed at children and is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review the matter.
11. International Users (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA)
Because your diary data is stored only on your device, you retain direct control over access to it and can erase it at any time using the in-app tools described in Section 9 — there is no remote copy for us to access or delete on your behalf.
The only processing of personal data beyond your device is the approximate location sent to Open-Meteo to provide local weather (Section 3). This processing relies on your consent, given by enabling location access, which you may withdraw at any time in your device Settings; where applicable, it also serves our legitimate interest in providing core app functionality.
To exercise any privacy rights available to you under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws, you can use the on-device deletion tools above or contact us with any questions.
12. Terms of Use
Use of Migraine Pressure Tracker is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
